Donker Sur Lie PX / Auchentoshan from Brouwerij In de Nacht is a Quadrupel aged on Auchentoshan single malt whisky casks. Created in 2016 as a house beer for the brewery's Venlo restaurant, this expression has since found a wider audience.

The dark, heavy base beer gains distinctive cask character from its whisky maturation. Complex spice and herbal notes emerge alongside the weight of its 10% ABV, while the finish remains crisp and refined. Barrel influence is prominent but well-integrated, balancing the beer's natural sweetness with a dry, lingering bitterness.
