Brouwerij Holevoort in Bakel crafts this tripel using hops and barley grown on their own organic land. Special Nr. 1 Barrel Aged matured for 223 days in a Ben Nevis whisky cask, adding peated smoke and depth to the beer.

The glass reveals a hazy golden ale beneath a white head. Fruity and roasted aromas emerge from the cask aging, while the palate is dominated by peated fruit character that complements the tripel's body with warmth and complexity.
