Brouwerij Holevoort in Bakel crafts this tripel using ingredients grown on the brewery's own land: hops and barley from their fields, water from the region. Special Nr 28 matured for 308 days in a 10-year-old Highland Malt whisky cask that previously held PX sherry. The result is a clear, golden beer with spicy character, a hint of citrus, and a light bitter finish. The barrel aging adds subtle depth to this robust 10.8% ABV tripel.

Pairs well with fatty fish, spiced dishes and meat.
