Mighty Matroesjka is an ambitious Russian Imperial Stout from Brouwerij 't Verzet in Anzegem, Belgium. This barrel-aged variant of their Naked Kameradski has matured in rum, sherry and cognac casks, developing layers of dried fruit and honey sweetness balanced by dark roasted malt and considerable bitterness at 15% ABV.

The first sip opens fruity and sweet, gradually revealing floral and herbal hop character. The palate is creamy and rich with dark-roasted malts, while the finish leaves a sustained, well-integrated bitterness. A complex, warming beer that rewards patient tasting.
