Hemelrijck is a 7.5% ABV blonde ale from Brouwerij Het Nest in Oud-Turnhout, a brewery with roots in a 2000 beer-tasting club called the Order of the Zatte Sparrow. This golden-hued ale strikes a balance between malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness, with subtle citrus and herbal notes woven through the palate.

The beer carries a medium body with crisp carbonation and a gentle acidity that carries into the finish. Spicy and grassy undertones provide character without overwhelming the drinker, making it an approachable yet flavourful blonde.
