Prison Pony is an American IPA from Aslin Beer Company, based in Herndon, Virginia. The name playfully refers to the zebra – the striped horse. This hazy IPA is generously dry-hopped with Citra and Galaxy, delivering a full and fruity character.
It pours a hazy golden colour with a fresh white head. The aroma showcases citrus and tropical fruit notes. On the palate, flavours of orange, pineapple, guava and mango emerge, balanced by assertive hop bitterness. The beer has a smooth, juicy mouthfeel characteristic of the hazy IPA style.
