Brouwerij Emelisse from Goes developed this Imperial Russian Stout as part of their experimental White Label series. The beer was aged in bourbon barrels and reaches a robust 12.6% ABV. The nose reveals liquorice, milk chocolate and subtle acidity.

On the palate, these same character notes dominate—liquorice and milk chocolate—accompanied by bourbon sweetness that carries notes of dried cherry. The finish is dry and lingering, characteristic of a well-crafted Imperial Stout.
