Brouwerij Emelisse in Goes pursues complex and rich flavours through barrel experimentation. This White Label Barley Wine was matured in Bordeaux Margaux casks, giving the beer a distinctive character.

Full notes of red fruit emerge on the palate, accompanied by subtle Madeira hints. The beer strikes a pleasant balance between sweetness and the warm, smooth character imparted by barrel maturation.

The finish is round and satisfying, with warming alcohol that completes the whole.
