Stoute Gijt is an Imperial Stout from Brouwerij De Natte Gijt, the ambitious brewing project of brothers Rudy and Marc Nordhausen from Weert. At 8.8% ABV, this jet-black beer delivers a full, creamy body layered with dark flavours.

The aroma reveals roasted malts, coffee and milk chocolate. On the palate, sweet caramel notes give way to intense roast and chocolate, supported by four hop varieties that introduce fruity and bitter dimensions. The finish is malty and bitter, with good grip but no harshness.

This is a stout with character – no filler, but a surprising balance between sweet and roasty.
