Doom & Gloom Barrel Aged is an ambitious Imperial Stout from Brouwerij de Molen in Bodegraven, aged in rum and bourbon casks. This potent ale proves that high alcohol content need not sacrifice drinkability: at 10.6% ABV, it remains smooth and warming.

Barrel maturation brings rich layers of vanilla, rum-spice warmth and oak to the fore, supported by dark malts and roasted grains. Blackberries, cocoa and dried fruit add depth and texture to the palate.
