De Leckere's Egyptian Ale is a blood-red Red Ale with a full body, part of the brewery's 'Journey of Beer' series—a collection of historical beers researched and re-brewed with modern craft techniques. Dates, figs, star anise, coriander and anise define its distinctive spiced character, creating an aromatic and flavourful profile.

Founded in Utrecht in 1997, De Leckere has brewed exclusively organic beers since 2018 at their modern facility in the Werkspoorkwartier. The brewery is recognized for crafting characteristic and distinctive beers with genuine flavour.
