Dark Paulus is a multigrain abbey-style beer from Brouwerij De Leckere in Utrecht. This 2018 special edition builds on the classic Paulus recipe, deriving its dark colour from black barley malt. The beer delivers a full, fresh and fruity flavour with pronounced citrus notes, enhanced by dry-hopping with Mandarina Bavaria. A soft, malty body from oat and barley malt provides balance, complemented by a light hop bitterness.

Brouwerij De Leckere, brewing since 1997 in Utrecht, has committed fully to organic production since 2018. This beer reflects that ambition: characterful, bold and crafted with care.
