Straffe Hendrik Tripel Wild is an annual release from Brouwerij De Halve Maan, Bruges's last authentic family brewery. This 10% tripel undergoes bottle refermentation with wild Brettanomyces yeast, creating a living ale that continues to develop in the bottle.

The 2021 edition is spicier than its predecessor. The beer marries the full, complex character of a traditional tripel with the distinctive funky character of wild fermentation. Saaz and Styrian Golding hops provide refined bitterness and balance.

Bottle conditioning with wild yeast extends the beer's natural shelf life, ensuring gradual evolution and deepening flavour over time.
