Dampegheest Antje
Dampegheest Antje is a 6% blonde ale from Brouwerij Dampegheest in Limmen, Netherlands. The beer is named after Antje van Gerrebrandje, a 19th-century resident of the village. This blonde ale is brewed with pilsner, pale, wheat and oat malts, combined with Northern Brewer, Spalt Select, Saaz and Ahtanum hops. The result is a golden-hued beer with refined character.
The brewery, founded in 2008 by Kees Koot in a former cheese warehouse, brews approachable craft beers with skilled technique and local Dutch ingredients where possible. Antje reflects that philosophy: a beer without pretence, with its own identity and carefully crafted recipe.
