Pax pils
Pax Pils from Brouwerij Cornelissen is a traditional Belgian pilsner with roots reaching back to 1937. Originally brewed to honour the end of World War I, it was named after Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. This beer represents generations of craft brewing heritage, passed down from father to son through the Cornelissen family.
Brewed with just four ingredients—water, malt, hops and yeast—Pax Pils is crisp and clean with measured bitterness. The flavour profile shows bready malt character with subtle lemon and grassy hop notes, rounded by Belgian yeast character. At 5% ABV, it functions as an approachable session beer that refreshes without unnecessary complexity.
This pilsner embodies the Belgian brewing tradition: straightforward, reliable and flavourful.
