Brouwerij Cornelissen has brewed this classic pilsner since the 1930s, when owner Jaak Cornelissen set out to create a true 'Ale' inspired by English brewing traditions. Despite its name, Ops Ale is a clear, blonde pilsner of bottom fermentation at 5.5% ABV. The beer is brewed to a refined recipe using lightly roasted malt, which gives it its distinctive colour.

The flavour is marked by a spicy, hoppy character. Brouwerij Cornelissen, operating in Opitter since 1811 and now in its sixth family generation, remains committed to traditional brewing methods.
