Cornelissen Ops Ale
Brouwerij Cornelissen has brewed this classic pilsner since the 1930s, when owner Jaak Cornelissen set out to create a true 'Ale' inspired by English brewing traditions. Despite its name, Ops Ale is a clear, blonde pilsner of bottom fermentation at 5.5% ABV. The beer is brewed to a refined recipe using lightly roasted malt, which gives it its distinctive colour.
The flavour is marked by a spicy, hoppy character. Brouwerij Cornelissen, operating in Opitter since 1811 and now in its sixth family generation, remains committed to traditional brewing methods. Ops Ale is recognised for its consistent quality and remains a core beer in this stubborn Limburgian brewery's range.
