GROM Braveheart is an Anthology Series Russian Imperial Stout from Brouwerij Bliksem in Breda, matured in freshly emptied Laphroaig barrels. At 13% ABV, this beer marries the full, dark character of a classic Imperial Stout with subtle peat notes from the Scottish whisky casks.

The aroma presents dark fruit, chocolate and wood with barely perceptible smoke. On the palate, sweetness, oak and a gentle beer bitterness unfold without the alcohol becoming overbearing. The finish is warm and mild, with a warming quality befitting its strength.
