Ne Bruine Loemelaer is a Dubbel brewed by Brouwerij Amai in Lommel, Belgium, using Pilsner and black malt. The name traces back to the first documented mention of Lommel (then Loemele) in 990 AD. This beer derives its light bitter and spicy character from the German Hallertau Mittelfrüh hop variety.
