Balthazar is a winter beer from Picobrouwerij Alvinne, brewed with cardamom, ginger, coriander and sugar. This dark, strong amber ale at 9% ABV is produced exclusively in winter and belongs to the brewery's trio of Christmas beers, named after one of the Three Kings.

It pours hazy amber with a tan head. The nose reveals sweet fruits, caramel malts and the distinctive spice blend. On the palate, complexity emerges through sour and bitter notes with a medium-light body and crisp carbonation that carries the flavours through to a dry finish.
