Zatte is the inaugural beer brewed by Brouwerij 't IJ in 1985 and remains a cornerstone of this Amsterdam brewery housed beside the historic De Gooyer windmill. This golden tripel follows Belgian tradition with a full body and layered complexity. The beer balances subtle malt sweetness with gentle bitterness and a warming alcoholic presence.

The nose reveals fresh fruit and grain aromas touched by spice. On the palate, flavour unfolds with light sweetness countered by a fine, dry bitterness. The finish is clean and crisp, making this beer surprisingly approachable despite its 8% strength.
