Brothers In Law Weizenbock
Brothers in Law Weizenbock is a hybrid beer from the Bilthoven-based brewery founded in 2017 by three brothers-in-law: Tim Freriks, Tim Teitink and Felix Schnetz. This beer merges the fruity, spiced character of a traditional Weizen with the rich, malty backbone of a Bock.
Expect a full, creamy head and deep amber colour, with a nose dominated by banana and clove—signature notes from the yeast fermentation. The palate is malty and rounded, with subtle fruit undertones and gentle sweetness, balanced by a warming alcohol presence that enhances rather than dominates the overall experience.
Despite its full flavour profile and aromatic complexity, this beer remains approachable and drinkable, making it a thoughtful choice for those seeking a more substantial wheat beer variant.
