Brooklyn Brewery's Intensified is a commanding barrel-aged Imperial Porter at 11.8% ABV, born from collaboration between the New York brewery, Salvadoran coffee growers, and an East Coast coffee roaster. This dark, powerful ale matures in bourbon casks, where chocolate, coffee and vanilla aromas develop in tandem.

The palate reveals roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee in full voice, with bourbon barrel warmth and subtle vanilla notes tempering the coffee's bite. The body is substantial and warming, finishing dry with lingering coffee bitterness. A serious, complex beer that rewards contemplation.
