Bronckhorster Barrel Blend Curiosité is an ambitious blend of three beer styles matured for ten months in different whisky casks. The foundation is a Russian Imperial Stout, combined with a Quadrupel and a Smoked Imperial Brown Ale, delivering a full 14.5% alcohol.

In the glass, the beer appears dark brown to nearly black. The nose reveals oak, subtle fruit, toasted grains and brown sugar. On the palate, complexity unfolds with toffee and vanilla notes that transition into red fruit with port-like character. The finish is long, warm and alcoholic, with the barrel maturation clearly present throughout.

This is a beer for those who appreciate depth and experimental brewing. Bronckhorster from Rha (Gelderland) demonstrates with the Curiosité series that barrel-aging is more than a trend—it is part of a thoughtful craft.
