Altenauer Harzer Pilsener
Altenauer Harzer Pilsener is brewed by Altenauer Brauerei, located in Altenau in the Harz Mountains – northern Germany's highest-altitude brewery. This German pilsner draws on over 400 years of brewing tradition and is produced entirely by hand.
The nose is fresh and clean, with grainy pilsner malt and grassy, herbal hop notes. On the palate, lightly sweet malt combines with spicy and grassy hop character, followed by a bold bitterness and dry, lingering finish. Medium-bodied with fine, naturally developed carbonation.
An honest, characterful pilsner that reflects the unrefined nature of the Harz region.
