Duvel On Fire is an audacious limited edition from Duvel Moortgat, matured on Mexican tequila casks and blended with yellow habanero peppers. This experimental barrel-aged ale builds on the classic complexity of Duvel Barrel Aged, but adds a surprising, intense spice with subtle agave notes.

The brewers deliberately kept carbonation low, allowing the rich aromas of wood, tequila and barrel ageing to shine. The habanero peppers partially take over the role of fine CO₂ bubbles, creating tension and a notably full mouthfeel. This is no everyday drinking beer, but a tasting beer for adventurous drinkers seeking a bold flavour experience.
