Defying Gravity is a bold, juicy double IPA from Mason Brewing Co in Cornwall, born from a virtual collaboration with Australian brewery Aether Brewing. Created specifically for Aus Fest 2026, a festival celebrating modern independent brewing and Australian hops, this beer was designed to stand out.

Packed with tropical hop character and soft bitterness, it finishes full-bodied and rewarding. Enigma Spectrum and Galaxy hops set the foundation, with newcomer Luna delivering a prominent melon character. The result is a boundary-pushing beer brewed to impress alongside the UK and Australian breweries featured at the festival.

Limited-edition cans are available from the Mason Brewing Co taproom and online store, as well as Red Elephant Beer Cellar in Truro.
