Blanche
Blanche from Brasserie de Bellevaux is a traditional Witbier from Malmedy in eastern Belgium. This family-run brewery, founded in 2006 by Tom Schuwer and his parents, brews with water from the Ardennes, hops from their own garden and Alsace, and Belgian malted grain. The result is a lightly hazy beer with subtle citrus and honey notes, finished with spice and a dry, crisp aftertaste.
The nose offers citrusy and floral aromas with a touch of honey. On the palate, citrus and sweet malt flavours emerge, with hints of coriander and a prickling, dry finish. An elegant, traditional witbier that reflects the brewing character of this border region.
