Sparta Pils hails from Brouwerij Van Steenberge in Ertvelde, an independent family brewery established in 1784. This Czech/Bohemian-style pilsner is crafted using traditional brewing methods combined with modern resources.

The aroma presents rich, sweet hop character. On the palate, strong carbonation and a creamy texture define the experience, with malt and hop in relative balance—though some find it slightly sweet-leaning. The finish carries assertive bitterness.

This is a living beer: yeast is added at bottling for secondary fermentation in the bottle, contributing to its distinctive profile and artisanal character.
