Floreffe
Floreffe is an abbey ale from Brasserie Lefebvre, located in Quenast in Wallonia. The brewery was founded in 1876, though the name draws from the Abbey of Floreffe, established in 1221 by monks of the Norbertine order. The Floreffe range encompasses several distinct styles, each with its own identity.
The Double is a dark abbey beer with deep red highlights, characterised by aromas of coffee, chocolate and liquorice, complemented by hints of aniseed and white fruit. The Tripel appears in an unfiltered orange-copper hue with pleasant fruit and malty aromas, supported by Belgian yeast character. The Blonde offers a refreshing profile with caramel and malty notes, finishing with liquorice and subtle hop bitterness.
Each variant reflects Lefebvre's craftsmanship and the heritage of Belgian abbey brewing.
