Herold is a historic Czech beer from Pivovar Herold in Březnice, a small brewery housed within a castle complex about 60 kilometres south of Prague. Commercial brewing is documented here since 1506, placing it among the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic.

Herold is known for thoughtful interpretations of classic Czech beer styles. The brewery was among the first to produce a widely distributed wheat beer and pioneered dark wheat varieties that were uncommon in the country at the time. That heritage of craftsmanship remains visible in their range today.

The brewery draws on local tradition and ingredients: four malt varieties, noble Saaz hops and regional spring water. Their beers are marked by balance and clear Czech character.
