Ops-Ale
Ops-Ale is, despite its name, a classic Pilsener from Brouwerij Cornelissen in Opitter, Belgium. This clear, blonde lager is brewed using traditional methods refined by the Cornelissen family since 1811—now six generations deep in the craft.
The beer takes its name from Jaak Cornelissen, who in the 1930s wanted to brew a true 'Ale' when English ales were in vogue. The result, however, is a refined lager, brewed with Munich malt from spring barley and English aroma hops. Ops-Ale is praised for its quality and spicy hop character.
At 5.5% ABV and 18 IBU, Ops-Ale offers a balanced, approachable drink that proves how artisanal breweries can honour their heritage without compromise.
