Dendermonde Tripel
Dendermonde Tripel is an abbey beer brewed by Brouwerij De Block in Peizegem-Merchtem since 1997, produced in collaboration with Abdij van Dendermonde. This blonde, high-fermentation beer with bottle conditioning delivers a full-bodied character marked by deep fruity character.
The aroma presents yeasty and hoppy notes with hints of dried fruit. On the palate, malt flavours with suggestions of hazelnut take centre stage, accompanied by yeast and warming alcohol. A refined bouquet of noble Belgian hops and authentic spices and herbs adds complexity and depth.
The finish is marked by soft bitterness. At 8% ABV and with its full structure, this is a considered abbey beer that rewards careful tasting.
