De Molen Grand Cru Edition 2023 is a barrel-aged sour ale from Bodegraven, created in collaboration with wine merchant Mestrezat. This dark beer unites two seemingly incompatible worlds: the tartness and complexity of craft sour brewing with the warmth and elegance of wood-matured ale.

The glass reveals a rich flavour profile with notes of caramel, raisins and vanilla, complemented by subtle red wine-like character. The wood aging adds texture and depth without overwhelming. At 10.4% ABV, it presents a full body with refined tannins that lead to a lingering, dry finish.
