Maes pils
Maes Pils is a Belgian pilsner brewed by Alken-Maes since 1930, originally created for Antwerp's Universal Exposition under the name Prima Maezenbier. Alken-Maes itself was founded in 1988 through the merger of two heritage breweries with roots stretching back to the 19th century.
This pilsner is brewed with extra malt for a fuller taste and refined bitterness from aromatic Saaz hops. The result is a golden beer with soft sweetness and balanced, mild hop bitterness. A straightforward, refreshing pilsner with clean finishing character.
