Maes Cool is a Pilsner brewed by Alken-Maes, Belgium's second-largest brewery group. The beer emerged from the 1988 merger of two historic breweries: Maes from Kontich-Waarloos and Cristal-Alken from Alken, whose heritage traces back to the 19th century.
