Geuze Boon
Oude Geuze Boon is the beer that transformed Frank Boon's passion for Belgian lambic into a brewery legacy. Since 1975 in Lembeek, Brouwerij Boon has crafted this gueuze by blending young and aged lambic beers, each matured in oak. The foundation is 60% malted barley and 40% unmalted wheat, brewed with aged hops and cooled in an open coolship to capture wild fermentation.
The result is dry and complex: citrus and green apple acidity meet funky, leathery notes with hints of straw and hay. Gentle yeast character rounds the palate. Crisp carbonation and a clean, tangy finish make this an approachable entry to authentic geuze.
