Blaugies La Vermontoise
La Vermontoise is a collaboration between two storied breweries: Brasserie de Blaugies from Dour, Belgium, and Hill Farmstead Brewery from Vermont. This farmhouse saison is brewed with malt, spelt, and American Amarillo hops, creating a distinctive Belgo-American farmhouse character.
The beer arrives dry and lively, with bright citrus notes—primarily lemon—woven through herbal and grassy undertones. American hop character delivers fresh, mild bitterness that transitions to a clean finish. Spelt grain adds subtle bread-dough complexity beneath the surface.
At 6% ABV with a light, airy body, this is a refined saison that honours the traditions of both breweries. Bottle-fermented, it carries the complexity and character expected from a true farmhouse ale.
