Blondine IPA
Brouwerij De Graal's Blondine IPA is a Belgian IPA brewed since 2012 for the Ghent specialty drinks shop De Hopduvel. Made with four malts including wheat and a blend of Belgian and American hops added in five stages throughout brewing, this light golden ale displays a firm white head and clean structure.
The nose and palate reveal hop-forward character with citrus and spice notes. Citrus zest—orange and lemon—mingles with freshly baked biscuit, while the malt provides gentle sweetness beneath a pleasant, balanced bitterness. Bottle-conditioned for added complexity, Blondine IPA earned recognition as World's Best Belgian style pale ale at the 2016 World Beer Awards.
