Hoppelhammer is a triple-hopped India Pale Ale from Whitewater Brewing Company, established in 1996 in Castlewellan, County Down, Northern Ireland. This 6% ABV beer draws on American and Pacific Northwest hops paired with pale malts to deliver a full-flavoured, aromatic brew.
The nose reveals citrus, pine and tropical fruit character. On the palate, bold hop bitterness and woody notes are tempered by toffee-like malt sweetness and dark chocolate undertones. The finish is dry and resinous, with a lingering bitter edge.
