Kuchlbauer Turmweisse
Kuchlbauer Turmweisse is a classic Bavarian wheat beer from Weissbierbrauer Kuchlbauer in Abensberg, a brewery with roots reaching back to 1499. Brewed according to the Bavarian Beer Purity Law of 1516, this unfiltered beer follows traditional recipes and uses the finest local ingredients.
The aroma displays the hallmarks of a fine wheat beer: banana and clove from the yeast, complemented by subtle notes of caramel and cocoa. On the palate, the soft, round body reveals sweet malt, prominent banana character, and a gently spiced finish with clove and cinnamon. The beer closes with pleasing softness and a lingering, smooth aftertaste.
Turmweisse takes its name from the brewery's distinctive art tower, a creation of owner Leonhard Salleck, whose passion for art and beer is woven throughout the brewhouse.
