Joie de Vivre
Van Moll's Joie de Vivre is a Flanders red ale matured for over 2.5 years in Cognac barrels, blending traditional Belgian brewing with French oak influence. The result is a complex beer that balances sweetness with bright acidity.
The nose reveals red fruits, apple, and notes of caramel and wine. On the palate, red berries, coffee and dark chocolate emerge alongside dry sourness and subtle oak. The finish is clean and dry, with the Cognac barrel aging adding depth without overwhelming the beer's core character.
Best served at 8–10°C. Pairs well with red meat and aged cheeses.
