Hapkin Blond
Hapkin Blond is a strong blonde ale from Alken-Maes with deep Belgian roots. Originally brewed by Brouwerij Louwaege in Kortemark from 1877, the beer passed to Alken-Maes in 2008. This high-fermentation ale is defined by its full, white foam collar and assertive character.
A full malt body combines with Belgian yeast and five hop varieties, including Saaz, to create a beer with fresh citrus and subtle banana notes. Floral chamomile tones add complexity, while the dry, spicy finish gives it grip. The crisp, light malt base and generous hop profile make this a refreshing strong blonde that appeals across a broad palate.
