Urbock
Schloss Eggenberg Urbock 23° ranks among the world's strongest beers, brewed at the Austrian castle brewery dating to the 14th century. This Doppelbock matures for nine months in the brewery's ancient cellars, gradually darkening and developing a creamy, smooth character.
At 9.6% ABV, it is a full-bodied, layered beer with pronounced malt, caramel, and dried fruit character. Noble hop bitterness provides balance against the beer's sweetness, while subtle woody notes from extended aging add depth. Low carbonation and warming alcohol create a substantial, lingering finish.
