Protected 2021 is an ambitious Imperial Stout from Swedish brewery Nerdbrewing, crafted with chocolate, roasted peanuts and caramel. This is a full-bodied, heavyweight stout with a rich, dessert-like character. The combination of sweet adjuncts creates a complex flavour profile reminiscent of chocolate cake and coffee, finishing with warming alcohol notes.

Nerdbrewing was founded in 2015 as a commercial gypsy brewery by Hannes Gruber and Karin Carlsson in Malmö. Protected was brewed with experimental ingredients characteristic of their approach to Imperial Stouts.
