Brasserie Popihn's Russian Imperial Stout is a carefully balanced blend of two separately aged components: a bourbon barrel-aged stout matured for 26 months and a smoked beer finished for 10 months in whisky casks. At 13.5% ABV, this is a bold, full-bodied beer that showcases the depth of both aging periods.

The aroma opens with pronounced smoke, peat and woody notes. On the palate, coffee and toasted malts emerge alongside the barrel influence and smoked character, creating a complex, warming finish. The substantial body and lingering aftertaste reflect the extended maturation and careful blending.
