Ridder Lodewijk is a Belgian Tripel from Brouwerij De 12 Stuyvers, a microbrewery based in Hazerswoude-Dorp in the Dutch Groene Hart region. The beer was among the first releases from this brewery, which launched in 2020 following a win at the Open Dutch Homebrewing Championship in 2019.

This blonde tripel delivers a complex flavour profile. Built on pilsner malt and Cascade hops, it achieves balance between malt sweetness and subtle bitterness. Spicy, fruity and alcoholic notes interweave across the palate, with banana character prominent throughout. The beer fills the mouth with sweetness before a hoppy, dry finish.

At 8.5% ABV, Ridder Lodewijk offers the warming, full-bodied character expected of the tripel style.
