Castelain Ch'ti
Ch'ti Blonde is a classic Bière de Garde from northern France, brewed by Brasserie Castelain in Bénifontaine. This traditional farmhouse-style beer was originally brewed in winter and spring, then cold-stored to sustain farm workers. Made with local barley and hops, it undergoes extended cold maturation.
The beer pours a bright deep gold with a plentiful, persistent head. The nose is clean and malty, offering biscuit, white bread and subtle floral sweetness. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, with faint sweetness and only a gentle bitterness on the finish.
