Three Rules of Authentic Trappist
Three Rules of Authentic Trappist is a rare collaboration between three Trappist breweries: La Trappe (Netherlands), Tynt Meadow (England), and Zundert (Netherlands). Brewed in deep secrecy, this dubbel represents a unique meeting of monastic brewing traditions.
The nose reveals sweet caramel, roasted malt, and delicate hints of peat. On the palate, the beer presents a rich, well-balanced bittersweet character with pronounced malt sweetness and subtle hop fruitiness, followed by gentle spice notes. The medium-full body is smooth and oily with soft carbonation.
A testament to international Trappist cooperation, this beer honours the brewing heritage of three abbeys united in a single expression.
