12%
Zlatý Bažant 12% is Slovakia's most exported beer, brewed in Hurbanovo where the brewery and malthouse have operated in tandem since 1964. Made from 100% local barley malt grown in the region, this Czech-style Bohemian Pilsner reflects the brewery's full control over its core ingredient.
The beer pours bright golden yellow with a thin, delicate head. The aroma is fragrant with sweet toasted grains and a subtle hop character. On the palate, sweet malt flavours dominate, balanced by a moderate, spicy hop bitterness that builds gradually without overwhelming the malt backbone.
The finish is crisp and dry with a lingering mild bitterness. Medium-bodied and refreshingly carbonated, it offers the clean, balanced character expected of a traditional pilsner-style lager.
