Elfique Ambrée
Elfique Ambrée is a craft amber ale from Aywaille in the Belgian Ardennes, born in 2005 when André Grolet established a microbrewery in a restored family farmhouse on the banks of the Amblève river. It was the brewery's inaugural beer and quickly earned acclaim for its quality.
This amber ale strikes a middle ground between blonde and dark beer styles. It is full-bodied and generous on the palate, with a soft, rounded character and a clean, fresh finish. Malty sweetness with hints of caramel gives way to a subtle bitterness that keeps the beer balanced and refreshing.
Elfique sources spring water from the region, locally grown barley malt, and Belgian hops. At 7% ABV, Ambrée is approachable yet flavourful—equally at home on its own or paired with food.
